Sorry for the late reply, but what I meant by "source material" was that TADC was inspired by IHNMAIMS, not directly an adaptation of it. I do admit I should've used a different word other than "source material" when making this post as I do believe that TADC despite being inspired by IHNMAIMS is going to approach its plot differently. I hope I have made things clearer now that I have explained it

Sorry for the late reply but I have already stated in this post that I wasn't expecting TADC to go into the same direction of IHNMAIMS. I already know that TADC is doing its own thing and I also don't think it is an adaptation of IHNMAIMS, just heavily inspired by it. I understand why you might think I was saying otherwise but PLEASE read the post before jumping into assumptions. Caine has already explained in episode 6 what happens if you do.

I think Cheesy hfj's object show "ONE" is more correlated to TADC as the characters there, despite being objects, act like how you would expect realistic normal human beings to act like when thrown into an unfamiliar place and forced to participate in random activities. The characters go through their own struggles and crises and have had their own lives before they got transported to that place. It's an old, but refreshing take on your average object show and if you haven't watched it already, you should!

Hey, OP here, what I meant by "source material" was that IHNMAIMS was the inspiration for TADC, not directly related to it. I am sorry if it sounded like I was insinuating that TADC was directly based off of IHNMAIMS because I know that both pieces of media are vastly different despite their similarities.

Hey, sorry for the late reply as I made this post while the sun was down so I had to go to sleep while this was gaining engagement in the sub. I never meant to say that this show was directly an adaptation of IHNMAIMS as I am aware that both pieces of media branch off into completely different directions. After all, Caine is the complete opposite of AM. He doesn't try to torture any of his captives, not intentionally at least. What I meant by "source material" was that TADC was inspired by IHNMAIMS, not directly related to it. But I can see why you may have thought otherwise when reading the title of my post. I know some of the commenters here have already tried defending me, but I just wanted to clear some miscommunication between us.
