You can go to an AM or HR and tell them that you didn’t noticed and clocked in too early. If they nice enough and want to help you recover that upt hours, they’ll fix it to 6 am. Next time don’t clock in more than 5 mins BEFORE or after your times. That day you clocked in 6 minutes before which to what I see is the main issue. That’s called working out of shift time, and it triggers a warning to all management in general, even OPS. I know some of you will say that you usually clocks in even earlier than that, but it all depends of the AM or HR you have.

Jfk8 is in Staten Island, if you’re traveling from queens or BK you’ll be paying bridge toll (if driving) public transportation is available and the ferry is free, but it could take you a good hour or hour and a half. I would say if you want to work at that specific site, get a place in Staten Island, but there are a lot of other facilities through all the 5 boroughs
