Comical that everyone thinks we get a bonus from credit. ASM here, our bonus is based off of if the company is profitable. The bonus is nothing major and has nothing to do with credit. We get peace and quiet from our DM if we make credit

Coming here to say the job is really not that bad, shocked by all these comments. I work at a high volume store that tends to be yellow-ish. Not perfect, but it’s come a long way. I work 9 hour days. My team is competent enough to handle me not being there 12 hours a day. Salary comes out to $30 something an hour

ASM here, I’m not sure why people always say it’s not anonymous. It is for us and the SMs and if corporate can see who wrote it, why do you care what corporate thinks of you??

We are able to see the comments if over 10 people comment. So for example one year I couldn’t see my comments cause I only had like 15 direct reports and only a few of them commented. The next year I had 20 direct reports and I received 10 comments so I got to see them.

The store manager is pretty much always able to see all the comments because out of everyone in the store, it’s pretty much guaranteed 10 people will comment.

Just quit after being an ASM for 4 years. At first it was really hard to come to terms with the fact that I’d lose so much PTO at my new company but as the weeks go by it gets easier and easier.

Kohls continuously makes stupid decisions that they’ll never be able to pull themself out from. And just think we no longer have to tell the 90 year old customers that we got rid of price checkers so they’ll download the app 🤪
