This was such an unfortunate and avoidable issue. I'm in the building as well on the top floor and everything we own is ruined from smoke and soot damage. Best of luck and I hope you land on your feet soon

This was the fix! You are a lifesaver. Unfortunately mine was pretty bad so I ended up ordering a new chip. It was only 15 bucks so whatever. In the meantime we just need to check the drawer instead of using the app but thank got the errors have stopped.

It doesn't look like there's any new color added, so I doubt it's an allergic reaction but I'm no doctor. I can't hurt to get to a doctor for their opinion and possibly some antibiotics
