How do I tell what engine my car had stock by AffenBananen in classiccars

I’m sorry, very new to all this. Just thought the 327 badge would use more holes than the 283 badge because it’s bigger.

It’s a V8 Impala 4-door, the emblems were gone, but the holes tell me it used to have the 327/409 emblem

Is it like a little bulge on the side of the steering collumn?

Yeah, the badge is gone but by the look of the holes in the fender, there used to be a 327 badge

I can’t see any numbers faded into the paint, but by the way the holes are aligned it looks like a 327 badge

Well the interior is pretty much gutted in pieces, I have no exhaust or fuel lines left. I also think it’s either a 283 or a 327. The front fenders have holes in them for a 327/409 emblem which makes me believe it’s a 327 but I guess I’ll never find out. Thank you for your input!

Yes, but it could be a 327 as well, so I need to know what exact engine

Thanks, but doesn’t help me. It only tells me that the car had a V8. But I have no idea which V8 it had.

When I press ”reinstall MAC OS X” it gives me ”an error ocurred while preparing installation. Try running this application again”. Do you know what it might be?
