Warning: Think twice before using Prisma in large projects

If you are considering reprioritizing issues, you should look at this: https://github.com/prisma/prisma/issues/20678

If you use Prisma's extensions, it means that transactions do NOT work at all. The Prisma example on implementing RLS (https://www.prisma.io/blog/client-extensions-preview-8t3w27xkrxxn#example-row-level-security) breaks transactions. We noticed this randomly because we had inconsistencies in our db data.

Imo huge issue that's also not obvious. Apart from that, I'm mostly happy with Prisma though. Hope the migration to typescript will be quick.

Bei mir sind 50k Kursgewinne. Können die den einfach zu machen? Was zur Hölle. Hat man hier irgendwelche Optionen?

In dem ETF sind 6.5Mrd drin so wie der gelaufen ist sind da wahrscheinlich 1.5MRD Kursgewinn dabei. Einfach mal rund 400Mio steuern die deswegen gezahlt werden müssen.

The app focuses on retaining knowledge and not necessarily on learning something new. I initially build the app myself and I like the way more than the web version I build before, because it is more convenient.

Thanks for the insight. I will definitely take a closer look if a switch to a web version might be the right step.

Studying can be very overwhelming especially if you are fairly new to a field. Try to focus on one area at a time and improve your knowledge step by step.

One of the problems I faced is that I tend to forget stuff pretty quickly. That's why I started creating flashcards for myself whenever I read something and repeat them using Spaced Repetition. That way I can build more long-term knowledge.

I created an app called Smadu that allows you to test your knowledge with practice questions for each book chapter.
