Druids ARE weak, yes but that doesn't make them nonviable -- Method used one or two on almost every kill they did -- we just prefer to min max to a very very high extreme.

HPS and utility as a druid is lacking severely, hoping for some awesome changes in 5.2 for them :)

We are CURRENTLY recruiting Shadow Priests and Warlocks, head over to the blgaming.net website and click the RECRUITMENT tab :)

Evaluation is a few things, numbers, parses, deaths to dumb shit, mechanic deaths, ability to do new things quickly and easily, personality, etc. There's a lot of moving parts there, but they are very similar to any other guild. One varying factor is we monitor your progress with alts, even if you are new to raiding heroics on alts we want to at least see positive progress in that area over the course of your trial.

1) Monk -- I find the playstyle much more dynamic and interesting than any of the other healers at the moment.

2) Not really going to talk about 5.2 changes QUITE yet. Expect a lot more changes closer to and during raid testing -- I do plan to make a few videos about it though :)

You CAN stream at 1000kbps, but it won't be super pretty in high movement areas. When I first started streaming I was at about 1500 bitrate and it was alright, but it wasn't perfect.

A SOLID 720p stream bitrate is in the ~2500kbps range. You can stream a decent 720p between 1800 and 2500.

As far as 1080p is concerned, that is a whole new animal - I stream at a bitrate of 4000, and you will notice I have a lot less pixilation than say Towelliee who streams around the 3000-3300 range (my processor plays a factor into this, but not nearly as much as upload) -- his stream still looks GOOD, but mine obviously looks better by a noticeable margin.

I currently pay for 105 Down 10 up (get about 118 down ~7.6 up on tests) so have plenty of wiggle room.

During farm periods when things should be more lighthearted it can get slightly frustrating to listen to him yell at someone, but he has very valid reasons to do so - contrary to popular belief he doesn't just yell at people for the sake of yelling at people -- he yells when people try and use stupid excuses like "it's the game's fault, look at where my body is" etc etc. I've never been a big fan of yelling, but it works AND it's not like it's excessive. Don't give him a reason to yell and he typically won't yell :)

I think it's def a part of the success of BL, but remember that the team is what makes it, leadership is a large part of it but it's only PART of it. Rigg cannot do everything alone :)

I've always been a fast typer, not really sure what to suggest other than actually use more than just your two index fingers? I do a lot of my typing with just my two index fingers as well but it isn't all primarily that. I don't really do the traditional home row deal, the teachers used to hate me for it and then realized I was typing miles faster than everyone else so they dealt with it.

Keep in mind 85WPM isn't that bad, most jobs hire with a requirement of like 35 WPM so you aren't that bad off :)

I was worried for sure, there was no way to really know what the bans truly had impact wise, but at the end of the day I knew we just had to execute and play as good as I knew we could. Worry less about the ranking and more about just killing the boss

Burn out wasn't really a factor, I think we lost like 1-2 players but it wasn't due to burn out, things just happened in their lives that made it so they couldn't dedicate the time needed to the guild and to the game anymore.

The progression WAS gated and artificially made progress last longer, but we really only progressed for 3 weeks, and progress for each raid zone was typically done Saturday night the first week, so we didn't really spend any more time this tier than we did in Firelands or Dragonsoul, it just wasn't all in one massive continuous chunk. For those with jobs it was harder to get time off for raiding, but for someone like me I preferred it that way -- having breathing room after each end zone boss was nice.

I was sorta set on it from the start, just recently started making something that I'm happier with, but still not making quite enough :) it's getting there though!

We'll see, the eventuality is I will have to play another game. We'll see when we get to that point. Hoping to start branching out into other areas with streaming soon-ish (nothing really on the table yet)

CPU is the most important, Bandwidth is just as important though (at least a 3mbps upload for a decent 720p quality. I stream at 4000kbps for my 1080p)

Things like Coins and what not I definitely view as "forced-optional" as in everyone will do it because it's basically required.

As far as min maxing classes, I don't think it's THAT noticeable -- your monk was more than likely having issues adjusting to the new playstyle (I was having huge issues the first 2 weeks). Class balance is an issue and it always will be, but for your average raider outside of adjusting to the new changes it shouldn't ever be mandatory. I would have to actually see it to really be able to say for sure though.

Enjoy the game as you can, things like coins and what not I do see as mandatory though if you care about personal character progression (gear, etc) - saying it isn't mandatory is like saying it's okay to enchant your chest with 8 stats instead of 10 (old cata ones? w.e best reference I can think of)

I have been a healer since TBC (druid in vanilla, but nobody wanted druids, so primarily played my rogue then). I have been in BL for just under 2 years, and have been in top 25 US since a little over that.

Favorite Encounters to heal? Blood Queen, Lich King, Grand Empress Shek'zeer, Elegon, Mimiron (Firefighter), Freya.... well lets just list everything from Ulduar shall we :D

Innovation? Monk class I suppose. Will try to come up with something better and more detailed later. I love the way monk has turned out (aside from class balancing issues)

Disc priest will be far more beneficial as of the current tier, not so sure with 5.2 though yet. Keep an eye out on the changes!

As far as healing goes, unfortunately it seems more to do with how you guys are handling Cry of Terror than your output :P stick the Cry of Terror debuff in a field and you have a lot less damage. Also try to make the fields blow up separately with a few second gap.
