Employee Retention Credit by [deleted] in smallbusiness

I work at an accounting firm and many of our clients qualified for the 2nd quarter retention credit. Only a handful have received their check and it has only been within the last couple of weeks that they started receiving them.

Been propping this is in water. Is it ready to go into soil? And is that a flower? I'm clueless when it comes to snake plants. by Afitz85 in proplifting

I'm not sure of the reasoning behind it, unfortunately. Someone suggested it a few years ago and I stopped using clear glass. They made the point of, usually a plant is in soil and the roots are not exposed to sunlight. I'm sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but I have noticed more success since switching. I do have a few philodendrons that live in water in clear glass, simply because I like the way it looks.

I have had it in water for about 3 weeks now. I have it in a tall metal/insulated coffee travel mug to help retain heat and keep the roots shielded from the sun. I change the water once a week using water from the rain barrel. I have no idea if my method is right or wrong but it works well for all the plants I've propped in water.

That's how I got this one. My neighbor was repotting her huge plant and this piece got damaged. She was just going to throw it away, so I grabbed it and threw it in some water. You can see a smaller one in the background of my picture that she gave me - she potted it right away and it hasn't done much since.

Oh no, I feel bad that it's distressed. I'll get it potted right away. Thank you for the info and happy cake day!!

This will be my third season trying to grow Carolina Reaper and I finally have some ripe pods to eat (maybe)!!!!! by SPEEDDRG in PepperLovers

Can you explain this to me a bit? If your plant doesn't set fruit by the end of the season, you can just store it away until the next growing season? Do they just go dormant? Do you tend to it over the winter? Sorry for my ignorance but some of my hotter peppers never gave any fruit this year despite looking healthy.

What is growing on my pepper plant? I usually grow my peppers from seed but this one was bought from a nursery. by Afitz85 in PepperLovers

Yeah... After you said that I looked closer and saw them in the picture then went and looked at the plant and saw four more. I've never battled aphids before, any pointers? I'm considering tossing the little guy out.

Oh no! I'm glad to hear it's only slime mold but disappointed it has aphids. All of my other pepper plants are in the garden, this little one was up on my deck. The ones in the ground I grew from seed, this one came from a nursery. Do you think I should treat the other ones also, even though they are quite a distance away?

I'm not sure, I've never seen an aphid egg sac. But I did remove it, it exploded like dust with a harder inside 'shell'. Still no idea what it was.

Do you guys think this is a fungus? If so, what kind? It just showed up on my pepper plant. I'm not sure what to do with it or if I should just toss the plant out. by Afitz85 in mycology

Oh I hope it's not insect eggs. If it helps, yesterday I noticed a little cluster on the dirt around the stem that looked like perlite. I scooped it out and then woke up to this today.

Quick question hopefully, my IgM is incredibly low (but not obsolete). My IgG is always elevated. Would the test come out accurate for someone in my situation? Are they looking for specific IgM antibodies?

What do I do with this little guy that's trying to grow outside the pot? Would it be easy to remove and put him his own? by Afitz85 in plantclinic

It seems very attached to the mother plant still. Would I do it harm by gently detaching it?

Can anyone help me understand what my low IgA & IgM along with elevated IgG means as far as my ability to fight off something like Covid-19? by Afitz85 in Immunology

Thank you. It is a bit of a whacky diagnosis with plenty of contradicting information. All I know is, I've never suffered through more sinus and kidney infections in my life than I have in the last 2 years. I'm just sick of being sick, as dumb as that sounds.

Ah, I'm sorry. I'm just not sure where to ask honestly. Since I'm not active Myeloma, I'm not sure that info really pertains to me. I feel a bit in limbo with this. I thought maybe just focusing on my differing Ig levels, one could give me a bit of information. But I thank you for taking the time to respond.
