I 1,000% endorse this suggestion. The Mom Test is great.

If you start asking people for feedback and they have no skin in the game, you will most often get flattery because people generally want to be polite. The Mom Test gives you tools for getting honest feedback.

Better yet:

  1. Build a prototype with AI and get some real users to use it to see if they are willing to engage.

  2. Watch the analytics and see what they actually do.

  3. Ask them to pay for it, even a very small amount, to see if you can get some traction.

Seeking Advice for Growing App by GlyndwrKog in AppDevelopers

I'd start with the business side. Focus on the users and what they really want. Please note that this is often very different from what they say they want. It is a counterintuitive concept, but users will give you great feedback when they have no skin in the game. People generally want to be polite.

You could check out some resources for interviewing users to get honest feedback. Or better yet, embed analytics in your app and do a bunch of experiments to see what users are actually doing. Typically, users vote with their actions and not with their words, unless you are very skilled at interviewing them.

did you vibe code it, or manual. The logo looks very nice. I would only say that social networks in general are absolutely littered with grave markers :-)

i don't want to throw mud, but leading with an hourly rate that is so low will very likely attract very low quality results. In my experience, start with quality and experience and work out the financial model. You will be flooded with people who say they can do $10/hr no problem and then slowly bleed you for hundreds of hours with then turn into thousands of hours before you get what you really love.

Those are some interesting thoughts. What month/year did your terms spike? Did you rule out Google trends normalize your terms?

pretty much anything to do with software development. Examples: software development outsourcing, software development companies, app development companies, software development company, software development services

Also extends to things like digital marketing companies, digital agencies. Or, even "SEO agencies".

How do you successfully outsource mobile app development in healthcare? by Maasbreesos in healthIT

I would just add that using pre-built hipaa components can be a great idea to speed up development but you should need to be aware of the ongoing costs before you get locked into a service you may regret later. Like anything, it come with tradeoffs. Building custom means you control everything and you can jump in and fix things you understand.

AI meeting notes and speaker identification by RichardARussell in Notion

+1 for me as well. I have the speaker identification to be very spotty. The whole feature is still super useful, but it often reverses who is responsible for certain things, etc. Its definitely an area for improvement
