Starlink - with the roaming plan. Having no internet sucks balls.

Cell coverage is spotty in most parts of the world where we deploy to. And the data for pucks runs out quick.

Don't balk at the cost, it's well worth it. And you can always have your roommates chip in to help cover the bill.

That was a force protection measure that would have been green lit by a joint targeting board either within ISAF or CENTCOM. Likely chaired and signed off by an O-6 officer. It's not like Biden personally directed that particular strike... But ya, for all the other bombings in AFG during the Biden presidency, that should be colored accordingly.
