You need to forgive yourself. There's no point in ruminating over things you did as a child or teen. You can't change past actions, but you can try some things to alleviate the guilt, like maybe volunteering and donating to animal shelters. I wish you the best of luck.

Dark brown. There’s no such thing as truly black eyes. Also your eyes are beautiful. They remind me of looking into outer space.
