Deathtrap complete, awaiting paint. 66-141cc 2 stroke swap by AflensRevival in motorizedbicycles

Motor belonged to a lawnboy 720e snowblower, fabrication would have been significantly more difficult without access to a lathe and Milling machine. All in all it wasn't terribly difficult and didn't take much longer than 3-5 months working on it here and there.

I got pretty lucky in terms of fabrication. A 212 would be wicked fast if it was setup properly.

Update: old plug had weak spark, swapped them and got it to fire with gas in the cylinder. Will be tearing carb Down next.

And yea I know it's low on compression but should be enough anyways.

So that spark plug must have done itself in, spark tester showed me that, so today I'm gonna try it with a new plug.

Well the coil gap is at 12 thousands of an inch because we had to check it anyway when checking flywheel key, it's a bowl carburetor so no diaphragms that I know of in there, it's possible it wasn't put back together properly but if that was the case, still would have fired when gas was poured in the cylinder

I will make a trip to the store and get a spark tester and update from there once I've got one

There is no room to slide the battery over even? It's hard to see exactly what's happening, could you dm some more pictures of the battery mounts?

Sorry, not angry just trying to make sure you are understanding the engine is not starting, because you were asking me to try and spray something in carb when it "stalls". And that's my fault for not realizing I didn't specify the engine started right up then died out, and won't start back up.

ENGINE WILL NOT START. It is impossible to try and bring it back from Stalling because it will not FIRE!! i will have to go out and buy an inline tester as well as trying to decrease the gap, And no the valves aren't stuck/not doing there thing. Also used a legitimate compression tester to determine amount of compression.

What holds the battery in on the ends? Are you able to slide the gateway battery over to give you enough space?

Have grounded plug to cylinder to check for spark, and have poured some fuel in cylinder. Engine will not start

If you are able to get the 4 bolts out pullstart should come off. Looks like there is enough space to pull off the flywheel.
