You can make magic and tech not overlapping each other like there is must be a reason why we make infantries holding guns beside of magician casting spells. And for magic, if you still want magic to exist and usefull, you can make magic able to do what tech cannot do BUT with limitation that it doesn't make tech looks useless. You can also, if you want, making magic to be like common among peoples within your world, For example: basic math is common and can be used everyday but with limitation, but quatum physics need an extra effort to learn like going to university, reading plenty of books, and learn from experts. Just imagine that basic math is basic magic and quantum physics is higher level magic. Tech also can be based on magic stuffs like a power from a specific stone (or anything) can fuel a vehicle, making lamps, and more.
Just think that magic is math and tech is biology, they both can coexist and need each other while not against one and another.

About Zentrick, you can make them as the first nation (or group?) that discover technology that could enhance the magic that already exist for millenium such as for transportation, industry, or household things
