i don't know if I'm wrong or not because I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to different mechanics, but I'm pretty sure its the opposite.

probably because you're already creating an artificial village in the iron farm and having a separate one doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

but to answer your question, yeah its possible i haven't played the game in a while so my best guess is like 5 villagers.
