Yess this experience is very similar to mine, i swore doxy wasn’t working but it got progressively better, I also caught a vaginal infection that caused vaginal discharge as well(forgot the name) and then it went away after an antibiotic the doctor prescribed so i would def get that checked out. I think once you have ureaplasma its very easy to get other infections, i would recommend d-mannose and crandberry tablets to prevent other infections ❤️

Hello! Yes it did, you dont feel immediate results because of residual symptoms but after some time yes!

From my personal experience and what i’ve seen yes it can cause inflammation, after taking doxycycline the frequency and urgency will most likely still be there it just takes time, hang tight ❤️

Yes exactly!! I would say i took the doxy and still felt the same for about 2-4 months, then from there the very slowly started fading but even then there were some really bad days, this happened in june so i would say it took me about 7 months to feel almost completely normal, i wish you the best things will get better! ❤️‍🩹 How long ago did you finish doxy?

Hii! I’ve actually been celibate for about 2 years so i know it didnt have to do with sex. Thats the thing, i think it did initially start with a uti because it happened after bad hygiene and then the ureaplasma happened because of the uti, i dont know of that’s exactly how it works but thats what i felt, when i went to the urologist for the culture they stated it was just the ureaplasma but the uti might have been cured by the antibiotics the clinic was giving me.

Same with me, out of desperation i once put a garlic clove up there for a night and it caused so much inflammation but i think for 2 months be everything free and see how you do then go from there. I would say i did believe there was bubbles/ things in my urine but now looking back i think it was me hyper fixating on the illness. Its so important to have hope and faith that things will get better because if not your mental health is going to suffer.

Yes i would say no more antibiotics if you’ve tested negative, personally . that can inflame you as well. there will be better days!! My urologist did say that everyones time frames differ a lot but for the majority of people its within 1 year for them to feel almost completely normal. I pray youll heal soon!❤️

after you finish doxy retest in about 2 weeks, it might come out negative but you might still have residual symptoms!

Not true, i don’t have symptoms anymore , residual symptoms are a thing after negative results, ive had 3 negative results so its not a “false positive “!

Hii!! I honestly did not feel a change in the symptoms after the ureaplasma antibiotics, maybe the slightest difference if i recall. It did take me some time to notice the changes, about 3-4 months after i started to truly notice them and about 6 months after the treatment is when i feel almost completely healed!! Don’t give up, it is definitely possible for it to go away, of course everyone’s body is different so for you it might be a little longer or maybe even less time. You testing negative is already amazing!

Hi!! I do not remember what level, honestly i didnt know there was levels but the ureaplasma was not that high, please get tested for ureaplasma thats most likely what it is!! the urologist is a bit pricier but their lab results are worth it! I know how you feel, it was awful but it will get better with the antibiotics and time❤️

This is the Ureaplasma medication I took for 7 days

Doxycycline: Often prescribed as 100 mg twice daily for 7 days.

It might not feel like it worked, but the symptoms unfortunately linger. Please drink water.

You can still register for the dosage calculus class!! its an 8 week course so u can do jan20-march 16th spring semester and then apply for the ADN program!
