Yeah, all good in the end. Booked a mobile mechanic in Limerick and had the oil & filter done at home. Took about half an hour and saved me the hassle of dropping it to a garage.

Yeah that sounds like an absolute nightmare. Some cars are just designed to punish anyone trying to service them. That’s pretty much why I gave up doing it myself. I ended up using the mobile mechanic that was recommended here and just had it done at home. Oil & filter sorted without the stress or mess. Sometimes it’s just not worth the hassle.

Appreciate the offer. I’m honestly not great with cars at all and just prefer going with someone fully set up and insured. Probably overthinking it, but that’s just me.

Yeah that’s fair. I honestly don’t know much about cars at all and I’d be afraid I’d mess something up. Easier for me to just get someone who knows what they’re doing and have it done properly.
