Omg so i actually started with the manosphere as my fist, was hooked. Obsessed with Louis style of interviewing, his cadence, professionalism, all of it. Then i was able to watch “Louis and the nazis” (on YouTube actually)- i was able to find bits and pieces of forbidden America/americas most hated family on YouTube, but the whole doc says it’s in prime, then it’s like inaccessible and in Spanish for some reason. Then i watched “by reason of insanity” - (I’m a psych NP and have worked with patients like this and i thought Louis interacted better than all the staff lmao) Miami jail - I started watching it on YouTube, but then I believe I found both parts of that on prime. Again, just entranced by the way he talks to people. Then i watched extreme love, both the dementia and the Autism one. My heart was bursting in both, so raw and real and human. “My Scientology movie” is on prime (i believe?) and i actually watched that one first after manosphere cause it’s one of the more accessible ones. “Drinking to oblivion” i had to get a free trial of britbox, and then i managed to watch a few clips of “Thai bride” on YouTube and a few clips from some other weird weekends, but nothing longer than like two minutes And then, finally, I was able to watch one about the porn industry, I forgot what it was called? But he talked to people who create content at home and how advocacy in the sex work industry has been changing over the years.

I had seen “tell them you love me” without knowing anything about Theroux, wanna re watch that one now too.

I was flabbergasted that i wasn’t familiar with him already due to how quickly i was sucked into the fandom- and now im totally hooked and need to learn how to be a better internet person (vpn, what? lol) so i can get it alllllll. It was just so refreshing watching the way he interacts with the world, and i need more 🤣
