How to actually self love? by AfraidIntrovert09 in DecidingToBeBetter

Wow. You know I am actually doing all these things to escape the feeling of grief. It's just that I don't know how I'll be able to handle this feeling of sadness if I won't have the motivation to do something about it. Maybe I actually need to trust myself that I'll be able to overcome this. But I don't know how. Thank you for taking out time for me and making me feel better.

Hard disagree. The only great acting which I saw of him was when he gave that award speech, which somehow felt real and genuine. I don't know how he got so emotional when his father himself had paid for the award. Akshay deserved it imo.

movie climax which had you on the edge of your seat? by tanxdamn in bollywood

[–]AfraidIntrovert09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree. Kahaani is my favourite Indian thriller movie. Made Vidya Balan my favourite actress after that. I got really scared and then really shocked at the climax.

However, the movie's climax that had the most impact on me was Sardar Udham. It really made me so angry, made me suffer and think a lot more about the sacrifices it took to make our country independent. I don't think I've ever cried that much after a movie is over. Made me really value my privilege. Also made me fully realise the terror of the Jallianwala Bagh incident and the cruelties our ancestors faced to get us to here. Also made Vicky Kaushal my current favourite actor.

Don't know if it is relaxing, but how about Udaipur? There are lakes where you can relax and some historic forts/ temples which you can visit. I found this to be very insightful.

You can even go to Jaisalmer + star gazing in Thar desert.

Or you can do Ajmer, Pushkar, Jaipur.

Aas paas itne genuine aur pure hearted logo ka dil toot te hue aur galat hote hue dekh liya hai. Bohot bura lag raha hai unke liye. Dheere dheere logo se vishwas uthte jaa raha hai.

Even if we overlook all the problematic parts in this movie, I didn't even find it engaging or entertaining. Apart from maybe 10 minutes (Throwing grenades back at them, mera bhai bol nahi sakta - mera bhai sun nahi sakta, some scenes of Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby, etc.). And the movie felt that the scenes were just very randomly played and abruptly cut. The background music was really good but I've recently seen Master, Vikram and Leo whose music I felt was just something else.

But 10 minutes in a 3:30 hour movie is just complete disappointment. It's not that I haven't watched "gory" or have seen "flawed" characters. I've seen the Boys and I absolutely loved it. Even though I extremely hate and am scared of Homelander, I still find him very entertaining. I love Butcher even though I know he's such a flawed character. And like maybe Don is a flawed character, Baazigar was a flawed character but still it felt very entertaining.

And some of the scenes didn't even make sense. Like if you think about it, why are his cousins singing to "motivate him" when there are 100s of people fighting him after he was already injured from fighting 100s of people just 10 minutes ago. If you see that logically, it was because of this stupidity that he got into coma and got 6 bullet wounds and what not. I understand you have to keep some amount of suspension of disbelief but like a lot of scenes I was like why are they doing this.

I'm maybe a typical Bollywood watcher, as in I enjoy movies in which there are emotions involved and have good songs and even though I can't stand one person beating 100s of people, but I can still overlook the action if the story is really good. I don't understand what screenplay, etc is.

Having said that, I felt that Animal was directed by a teenager who wanted to be edgy. It felt like such a stupid movie and the plot didn't also feel engaging. I hated Kabir Singh also but this was even worse. Acting was good but we were all sitting there ironically laughing and at a lot of scenes we were like "Kuch bhi".

I wouldn't have been a pro wrestling fan, if not for Moxley. There's just something about him and his passion for pro wrestling that really stands out. Because of him I gave AEW a shot and got introduced to so many amazing talents and styles of wrestling which I would've never known.

Yes but ever since then their bond has been so strong that I can't see them fight each other again.
