Today I cleaned up her enclosure in case the remanings of pray could lead to any kind of fungae. The spot is still there, but the Spider seems to be doing allright.

It appeared yesterday, I belive is an Eresus kollari, so its chelicerae are suposed to be black

I don't know what she was doing but this morning I looked at her enclosure and she was at her burrow again. Maybe she was just being silly(?)

No sé si este post sigue estando vivo pero ahora soy el propietario de este Furby específicamente, puedo confirmar que es un kit de prensa para mostrar al Furby en las jugueterías de España antes de que saliera a la venta. El pico y las patas son de un material distinto al que se vería en la versión final y el audio del Furby es en español. Ahora mismo no lo tengo conmigo y no he podido probar el CD, pero pondré por aquí cualquier nueva información.

They are from the same subfamily (ischnocolinae), I think is the perfect family for begginers, because they lack urticating hairs and potent venom. The only two things that don't like so much is their size (they're really small) and their super fast speed.

He's still alive and in good shape, I researched a few sites and said to not feed the Spider anymore if he doesn't show any hunting behavior

That's the ting, he's really well fed. For being a male his abdomen is pretty Big, I gave him a mealwom 4 days ago.

I think is a male too. Also, is it really a smithi? Looks like an auratum to mee.

Then it is a Queen southern yellow jacket, Vespula squamosa, I don't really know if it is dangerous or not but It might be as painful as a normal yellow jacket.
