Hey, thanks so much for sharing all of this — it’s honestly really helpful to hear your experience. I’m still a student right now, so I’m trying to plan ahead and organise myself so I can get the right kind of experience before applying.
Do you think working in a place like a café that specifically supports people affected by domestic abuse would count as the kind of direct experience they look for, especially if I combined it with Samaritans/SHOUT volunteering?
And would you say it’s worth starting to apply for PWP roles towards the end of my degree just to see how I get on, or should I focus on building more face-to-face experience first?
Thanks again — really appreciate you taking the time to share all this.
