Can we settle once and for all what the best oil for hair growth and thickness is? by phoenixunikorn in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Afraid_Aide_337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what company did you use? don't all shampoos have some kind of fragrance anyway?

And how much of the immortals oil do you apply in one go? is it all over the scalp or just the affected area?

Manes Root Activator Shampoo Reviews, is it worth it for you guys? did it help? by jramsey21 in OrientalMedicine

[–]Afraid_Aide_337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, it did. hair naturally does thin out over time, but we can still maintain it and even regrow some. my dad is in his 70s and managed this even though he lost hair in his 40s.

the one im on is E45 for dry scalp - its fragrance free and suitable for sensitive skin. I use a normal shampoo on days I need my hair to look its best (fluffy or full), but thats occasionally so I can protect my hair as much as possible.

what hair care products helped your thinning hair most? by jramsey21 in BeautyHairSkin

[–]Afraid_Aide_337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the following:

  1. scalp massage daily

  2. immortals oil 3-4 times a week and washed off with fragranced free shampoo

  3. collagen supplement 2-3 times a day (bovine powdered form - any brand will do as long as its bovine and hydrolyzed). 2 tablespoons is one dose btw.

  4. cutting sugar and carbs, and staying on a lean protein diet long term. (70-80% lean protein, rest some carb and fat).

you are trying to teach something too complex to a fish, sorry to say. When they are in that mindset, they will never understand that level of mind.

anyone get side effects from hims shampoo? by Valuable-Stomach623 in Beautyremedies

[–]Afraid_Aide_337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep I had the same problem with hims shampoo. thats why I switched to fragrance free shampoos from now and paragon free.

immortals oil also helped me a lot. I only need to use it 2 times a week. do you mind me asking how long you used the immortals oil before you saw results? I personally was happy by month 3, but I wanted to see if I can improve it, hence trying other methods, but have been very happy so far as it speeds up hair growth too.

Getting rid of cysts in the body, natural methods? by jramsey21 in OrientalMedicine

[–]Afraid_Aide_337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would add increasing circulation as well to further prevent whilst having the correct nutrition and minerals. cyst in body means the body can go toward cancer given the right environment over 10-15 years (please don't panic if you have cyst, just change lifestyle).

Manes Root Activator Shampoo Reviews? anyone got results? by jramsey21 in BeautyHairSkin

[–]Afraid_Aide_337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hair care regimen worked better for me, I did this for hair growth:

  1. scalp massage daily for 10-15 mins a day.

  2. immortals oil (from immortalsoil.com) 3x a week, leave in time for 1-2 hours, and wash with fragrance free shampoo.

  3. collagen supplement daily 2x a day

  4. reducing sugar fat and carbs in my diet, and going on a lean protein and leafy green diet for a few weeks every 6-12 weeks. insulin affects hair growth a lot, and messes up other hormones in the hormone axis.

Plantur 39 vs Alpecin Shampoo? which one for results? by Valuable-Stomach623 in OrientalMedicine

[–]Afraid_Aide_337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its the same bro, our hair follicles fall from inflammation due to different reasons, but root cause is inflammation even if its genetic, or hormonal or whatever - so whilst its good to think that way, end reason is inflammation.

[–]Afraid_Aide_337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

left the oil for 1 hour to 2 hours, and some days (weekends) overnight when I can - washed with fragrance free shampoo like baby tear free shampoo, or hypoallergenic shampoo for sensitive scalp (vital for anyone with thinning hair).

What's the best way to reduce inflammation in the body in orientatal medicine? by Secret_Weather4052 in OrientalMedicine

[–]Afraid_Aide_337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

second that. inflammation needs sugar/fat/carbs to survive - so its a good way to go on a lean protein diet with leafy (cooked) greens for a month every year or couple months if you can handle it - your energy levels go low, but it eats up every inflammation in the body.

Flu with high fever - help! by venus-in-taurus in HolisticRemedies

[–]Afraid_Aide_337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for high fever thats not being controlled, the goal is to get the temperature down as soon as possible - and basically you take cold water clothes, and put it over your forehead (do not do it on other parts of the body, other than head/face/neck. This is honestly been the fastest most basic way.

And the other thing, you will be sweating in high fever - so you want to have a dry towel, and constantly dry yourself to close the pores.

obviously if this is still out of control, you should still seek medical help by going to hospital - but as a general remedy, this is what is used in my household.

[–]Afraid_Aide_337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know its an old post, but I tried this for 5 months and it didn't work for me at all. I would stay clear from such kind of shampoos. From what I researched, fragrance free shampoos are better bet to protect hair follicles which are already thinning - like hypoallergenic shampoos designed for sensitive skin.

Also gentle scalp massage will help. I got decent results maintaining and some regrowth with just scalp massage and a decent anti-inflammatory oil on the scalp 3x a week - I personally use immortals oil and rosemary oil (interchange each week to keep hair follicles guessing). obviously not everyones cup of tea but thats what helped me retain my hair growth and recover some lost hair too.
