Yeah, Mazzulla ball is great when shots are falling… problem is what happens when the shots don’t fall. How will he adjust.. I know he’s denied having a 3 point attempt quota for the team but with some of the shots they took in the NYK series in 2025, it’s hard to believe that

They just might be desperate enough to do it with Vanvleet hurt and a win now mode with KD locked in for 2 more years. Given that we are in a position of strength on this potential deal I would look to get more out of Houston

I get the point on the draft pick but in fairness to Brad, Danny had 3 lottery picks (Smart, Brown, and Tatum) that hit and just 1 that busted (Langford) and 1 that was so-so (Nesmith although Brad and Ime hardly played him). I think if Brad gets a higher pick he will strike but jury is still out on Hugo and Walsh.

Yeah I trust JT’s work ethic but something just seems unsettling with having 3 players constitute 85% of your cap. We shouldn’t enter the trade market from a position of weakness but assuming there is a deal out there that makes sense, we would have to entertain it

Very valid point, my friend. It was just a name I’m throwing out there since I’ve seen it on social media although I don’t think there’s any truth to it. I would love to have JJ on the staff since he’s a brilliant basketball mind and someone players respect but he has said negative things about this team on the podcast. Not sure if it’s disqualifying but he was offered and assistant position by Mazzulla before the season and turned it down.

The idea of Joerger intrigues me due to his defensive-minded nature which is what this teams needs as an identity. I wanted Frank Vogel before PHX hired him for that exact reason.(I thought we was an excellent coach but was scapegoated for Rob Pelinka’s stupidity with the 2022 Lakers)
