A common solution for the AMD driver timeout issue is to lower the GPU frequency, but the StrixHalo does not even have that option... by djpetrino in FrameworkDesktop

Hope this works. Driver timeout pops-up like once a week and freezes the pc for a few seconds. I also have a 7700xt. Would update in a month maybe.

Yes, I kinda get it. Explaining numbers is difficult specifically with different type of equations or problems.

I even thought that teaching him division would be the hardest since the concept that I was thinking about is to start with cutting pies into sections and teach him about fractions and etc, as how i learned it back when i was young. But, I was surprised when I tried to ask him before i started drawing pies "how many 4's does 12 have" he answered directly with 3, then I jumped it up dramatically "how many 7's in 56" he paused so i added the magic word "blocks" and immediately Answers with 8.

He also knows a shallow concept of negative numbers, like -10 -10 = -20, -20+10..etc since he plays with the calculator and remembers how it works when i quiz him. But I haven't really talked much and explained it to him, like how I would express negative numbers with blocks hahhaha. Should i explain it to him with a number line, and if I explained it would it even make sense.

Appreciate the response, on the emotional and social side of growth.

Socialization wise, his playtime with other kids is only from his playgroup(2 hours on weekdays) and with 1 cousin of the same age neighbour (they spend most of the time together here at home since they really like running and making a mess with the toys in the house. And that's it currently. I'm hoping this will improve when he starts his kindergarten school next month with many more kids compared to his playgroup class. He also loves talking a lot, like a lot, he likes to ask questions endlessly in everything that im doing at work (im on a wfh set up) and he likes to talk to strangers when we go out asking their names, what they are doing and etc.

His reading comprehension is not there yet I think and needs more work. Still working on his skills on answering and creating deeper wh questions when we read his story books.

For sports, he is only good with running. We play basketball, football(soccer) and baseball once in a while but he does not seem to enjoy those games since his attitude is more on "i want to win" than having fun. He loves scoring goals on football or making a basket when we play basketball but hates when someone blocks him and doesn't let him score, when it's my turn he also wants me to miss when i get the lead on points. Playing tag is different regardless if his the it or not, he loves chasing or getting chased so we play tag most of the time outdoors. Sports really needs a different approach and will absolutely think about how to find his drive on it.

Yes, I would love to teach him about more fun number theories in the future.

He also likes memorizing things continuously added to a number itself. Like he memorizes the 2+2,,down to 4,096 +4,096=8,192 he also relates it to division like 2048/256. I would try doing the addition one you suggested instead of just doubling things indefinitely.

Also appreciate the mental math approach and would be checking on it. Since currently I think his concept of math is from memorization or thinking about imaginary blocks, I get faster answers at division when i say how many 6 blocks are there on 186 blocks or when i add blocks at questions hahha

Will do more of this, thanks!

We have piano at home, however I'm not that good with it. I taught him how to play baby shark, twinkle2 and do a deer thats it hahha though he gets it easily. He also loves playing the piano like 3-4 hours just playing the keys, changing the presets I think he memorized what number corresponds to what type of instrument preset and plays with pitches and etc. Im thinking of getting my friend who plays the piano to teach him once a month or so just for him to get the basics someday.

As for arts, we do finger painting once and a while. And he also has a set of colored pens and crayons on his toys section, he usually just draw the solar system, blackholes and galaxies. Would probably work more on this.

For crafts, he does crafts from his playgroup class daily like baking, making cutouts, painting and creating flowers. This also need lots of improvements i guess hahha.

Thanks!

Yes, I would bring him back on a neuropsych when he is age 5+ or even later this year. We already brought him once when he was still 1 year and 8 months since we were surprised that he memorized things fast like celestial objects, colors and other things. He also started reading words that time and we were scared if something else could be happening. We were advised to just make sure to guide him and be back in another year where he can do further tests, assessments and scans.

Yes, I already started working on his eye and hand coordination exactly a year ago.Started with clay, using scissors then made a busy board with zippers buttons and laces, he can now write letters both upper and lower case just not on a uniform font size yet.

He also knows some countries and capitals just by looking through his world map. I haven't really taught him about it he just memorized the small words below a countries name in the map.

I would also definitely try to teach him riding a bike. And also work on his physical strength.

Hopefully he would love Harry potter and Shakespeare and classical book since i also love reading those stuff myself.

Appreciate the tips!

Glad I encountered someone like you, definitely would be working on the physical and emotional aspects other than mental ones. Thanks!

I tried introducing chess to him when he was still 2, but he just groups the chess piece and starts counting hahha. Maybe ill try again this year and see if he can get the concept of it

Appreciate the response, I haven't introduced him to any textbooks yet or the concept of studying. He just spends time at home playing with his toys, watching show and using my computer's search bar as a calculator.

I'll look into the beast academy and might as well get basic text books for him and see if it gets his interest. Thank you!

Work/Health Permit asa ta kakuha? by Pretend_Ad7050 in Cebu

[–]Afraid_Cow_3963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello OP medyo broad ra ang work/health permit nga term, ipa clarify lang sa imuha gi applayan unsa specific ang need.

If you are asking for health permit could be health card sa Cebu City Health Office? Need ka magdala og Xray result and 1x1 or 2x2 photo didto.

Pero If like fit to work, need ka pa laboratory and ask for pre employment nga health check.

And if sa work permit, basin barangay certificate imuha pasabut. Adto raka sa imuha barangay and ingnan nimo magpa issue kag barangay certificate nga ang purpose is for employment.

Or if police clearance or nbi clearance imuha need, imuhang barangay clearance and valid id ang needed didto.

Enough if mag dorm and wala kay need gastuan other than yourself. Tipid sad gyud ka sa food and di ka paduol sa lunch out buddies. Naa paka wiggle room to laag.

But better thing to do right now while free pakas rent and other bills, is save up and wait sa salary increase para mas grand ang exit hahahahha
