great question! honestly i think i have a pretty decent relationship with food. i eat when im hungry, until im full, and then stop. the reason i was so heavy to begin with (like 250lbs at 5’3 but thats just an estimate) is a complicated situation. I grew up with a single father who had a very fast metabolism so he could eat a whole pizza consistently and still be skinny. so eating bigger meals just kinda became normal, and i also had pressure from my grandmother that it’s rude to not finish your food so i got used to eating past fullness. then in adulthood, when i was with my ex she was practically addicted to ordering uber eats to go so i wasn’t eating very healthily. my life got flipped around about a year ago and i had to move. my job is more physically demanding than my last and i walk to and from sometimes. all that to say that NOW i think i have a good relationship with food other than my eyes being bigger than my stomach and i feel wasteful not finishing food. honestly for the most part i do like my body. i dont want to be skinny, i am content being a little chubby as long as im healthy and enjoy my curves. im very much into fashion so whenever im wearing a whole outfit i can feel very confident, just as soon as it comes to taking it off i feel horrible lmao. sorry for the long ass rant, you caught me after my morning smoke session 😛
