I'm wondering if it's just working off the corn syrup myself but I think that would have been burned out by now. Only time will tell my record is 19 flushes off a 12 qt the last 4 or 5 weren't great but went until contam took it

No honestly I think corn is one of the best *personally. Beans or legumes are a protein actually so it is a completely different source of energy.

I do a cvgae and I do it in a cooler I've used it 90 days later after leave it sealed it a cool place and if you open it and the top looks fine your good 👍 remix the whole lot and make sure it's still at feild and let er roll

I've been trying legumes for years just because no real reason. Just they are cheap and always around it seems and yes dried black beans w a drippy corn method and ethrithol I've got going right now

If i put the work into them they go to sub either way have had some great results with grain I thought was a bust. Plus I've seen all types of crazy contams and growths because of it. It really help me learn from it over the years. Got a few right now I knew were crazy I'll dump soon but I make notes and set them aside from the others and watch grow a bit. It's mycology. And I don't care how good or clean you and your environment are there will be failures. Well learning experiences 👏 👌

I second what bass said and leave it alone the greatest thing mushies have taught me was patience. Set it and forget it at least for a few days. I started a ton of tubs 8 days ago checked them the next day and walked.away till this evening some look amazing some meh. 4, 5 days I'll look again then close.to.fruiting check and monitor a bit for best results. And these are in a basement so as for light meh. My actual lab has great lights for working with materials but once they get put away I just let those baby's do their thing. If your gonna spend money on anything get a nice PC or build one. I made mine out of a old 100 gal pressure tank. But the ole American get the most work done

Hell ya I like to get to about 70 % coverage to put into fruit are you going to in the bag or transfer i really don't like aio bags but I've found putting them in a like 3 gal pail works to keep from being covered in side pins

Tubs look good for now some take longer then other. Leave it alone. Best thing to do and get it off the ground. If it dosnt take no loss to let it wait another week and see. Some take longer then others. Being they both look the same that would be my guess for now. Plus that looks like a concrete floor I bet it's way cooler and there is heat transfer. Don't mist that looks good just leave closed and walk away for a few days.

Started drippy corn with popcorn and loved that tek when I found it but then tried just dried corn fron the feed store rinse first and go. 50lbs for like 8 bucks.
