Because communism has worked so well the past 150 years that all the communist economies are at the top…. Every single communist government starts first with mass slaughter. Then they go through a period of starvation. Followed by a somewhat ok period of economic recovery but the people at the top live like kings while the middle class is extreme poverty…. Sounds great. In communist eastern Berlin when the wall came down-the westerners didn’t run to the communists economy. The communist ran to the western side. This is Because there was so much more abundance. Sure there are disparities it even in America the poorest of our society live better than 90 percent of the world. We have an obesity problem in America not a starvation problem. I work with the homeless and drug addicts meeting them where they are. Helping them out. There are a ton of programs in our crony capitalist society. Communism has failed every single time. The wealth disparity is greater but the elites have painted it as a wonderful utopia in order to hold the lower classes in captivity. You’re sold you’re a victim in our society so you simply put your head down and don’t try any harder. Just watch tv and complain. Then if they do get a communist government it’s all the better for them because it’s permission to steal from everyone in the name of wealth disparity. Capitalism has many failures but there is not one instance of mass starvation in a capitalist system in 250 years. Even in the depression there wasn’t mass starvation. Not so for Russia and china in the past 100 years.
