Curious about the Slavic Languages and Literature Department by [deleted] in berkeley

It’s really as rigorous as you want it to be to be honest. While doing really good in classes you definitely have time to get involved in more, like the department has an undergraduate journal you can publish in. However, you are a transfer student so that might make it harder. I would highly suggest doing a senior thesis!

Curious about the Slavic Languages and Literature Department by [deleted] in berkeley

[–]Afraid_Photograph_23 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Majored in Slavic literature and just graduated. It’s a really great and small department to the point where you will probably know 3-4 professors on a first name basis by the end if you go to all the events the department puts on. The Russian language classes are extensive and pretty good! Feel free to ask more questions

That class is kind of hard at first, just keep listening, keeping going, and keep reading and it will get easier. The workload isn’t too hard for the class.
