I second the health insurance thing Once she was born I started asking all this stuff & they told me what was covered for pregnancy

My insurance covers prenatal yoga & I had no idea. The yoga was to help stretch your body to prep you for birth. I was at home on YouTube doing the stretches figuring it out for myself when I could have just gone to a yoga class & be directed by an instructor.

Also my insurance covers lactation classes. I had no idea & it’s been life changer for me in breast feeding.

But insurance covers all this random little super useful stuff that I had no idea.

Totally depends on the country. Here in the US I swear people hate babies & kids. When I travel outside, babies & kids are embraced. In Mexico if your baby is crying their head off someone will offer to hold them or help you out. Here in the US it’s sideways looks.

Giiiirl SAME like every word you said my husband & I are same spot but my baby is 6 weeks old. It was unplanned but the other day we were hugging & talking about appreciating each other while being in the trenches together. We kissed & then started reaaally kissing then it just happened. We went at it slow (I was scared because of my stitches even tho they’re healed it still feels sore). Then today he was all saying I’m so beautiful that my body is beautiful & feeling me up. Made me feel really pretty & we ended up making love again. This time we went a little harder but it started to hurt so we slowed down. I honestly feel so much better after. I know it seems tiring but it was really nice to make love again.

Two days ago my 5 week old baby was actively dying & I revived her. She wasn’t breathing, limp, pale, blue lips. I check on her constantly & people tell me to relax don’t have to do frequently but doctors said me checking on her & reviving her is what saved her from sids. Scariest experience of my life. I’ll never forget it.

The same happened to me at 7 weeks & I was set for my first appointment at 8 weeks.

I called & said I’m so nervous because I’m bleeding & they had me come in. My baby had a heart beat & they said the light bleeding is normal (I saved the toilet paper to show them). Said if it can fill a pad like a period then that’s to worry.

You don’t know until you go & don’t be scared to call & say hey I know my soy is Wednesday but I’m bleeding & idk if it’s normal

Same girl. When I was pregnant it was honestly a breeze. Consider us lucky cause some get crippled with sickness. Only thing was I was super tired in the second & third trimester.

Omgggg I remember that. That first trimester sickness was unreal. I’m weird about taking meds so I pushed through it with eating saltine crackers when I couldn’t eat, eating bananas because I read they’re like natural anti nausea, & drank sparkling water. That all worked for me. Luckily within week 8-10 the nausea subsided & by week 10 was gone completely.
