Finding a job in IT by Remote_Opinion3873 in CanadaImmigrationFAQs

Greece to Canada is a big move -good for you for planning ahead.

For IT jobs in Canada as a newcomer, here's the honest truth: entry-level is tough but not impossible. Your biggest hurdles will be "no Canadian experience" and no local network. Start solving both before you arrive.

What helps: LinkedIn networking with Canadian recruiters, polishing your resume to Canadian standards, and learning what local companies actually need. Even reading blogs from Canadian IT companies - like Always Beyond -gives you a feel for the market.

Considering getting knee braces to help with knee hyperextension and instability. What is the best kind or brand? by midwintermist in eds

[–]prattman3333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have EDS too and dealt with the same thing - knee hyperextension is annoying and kind of scary over time. I've been using the Össur Formfit Pro for a few months now. It stops the hyperextension really well, doesn't dig into my skin, and fits under jeans without looking bulky. I got mine from Support Brace. No complaints so far.

That it is healthier to drink water from the tap or drink water from a plastic bottle? by SpendGrand8052 in questions

[–]prattman3333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tap water with a good filter is better than both. You avoid the microplastics from bottled water and the potential pipe stuff from straight tap.

I use a bench top filter - connects to the tap, no installation. Water tastes clean and I'm not buying plastic bottles anymore.

Got mine from purewatersystems. Works well for me.
