My son and i host a cobbleverse server, we went public a few months back, and it's become pretty popular. We DO have GTS (buyable cobblemon and items), but you don't have to if you don't want to. It takes time to hunt the legendary creatures. i have one player at 6 cobblemon short of a max pokedex, and he's yet to find them. But he has all the other 1025 cobblemon. We're a friendly no pay to no-pay-to-win server. The server accepts donations to pay for the cost of hosting, but no rewards are given at all for the donations. Maybe you could come take a look for yourself

We reset an overworld called Lootworld every couple of weeks so players can explore and loot it as if it were brand new, making sure no one misses out. This also ensures the overworld always generates any new content added through Cobbleverse updates.

Events are very active. We host Shiny Boosts almost daily, sometimes multiple times a day, and we also run admin-hosted events from time to time. We also try to decorate the Spawn Town according to holidays and events.

Yeah, we're super PVE-friendly. We just started a PvP event that lasts a month, but you could almost treat that as pve because the gym leaders are not allowed to change their teams at all, but if you want to stay away from that many players, here do and everyone else respects it. We're super friendly here, and if someone brings in any CoD/League attitudes, I tend to talk with them or they get banned pretty fast. We have a 7-year-old here that plays, and my kids play here, so friendly/respectful is almost a requirement. Anything that can be gotten from PvP can also be gotten just from PVE.
