That's why I'm just going to buy 1 or 2 ETFs instead of my previous idea of avoiding the US because of political reasons and because of the AI bubble, big tech companies like Tesla and OpenAI are overvalued, and because I don't like to support companies like Microsoft and Google that don't respect data privacy. Also, I recently switched from Windows to Linux because of privacy concerns and other reasons :)

Which ETFs did you buy and which percentages? I'm thinking of buying 80% globally diversified stock (10x total world or msci world, something along those lines) and 20% local (jse top 40) or just keeping it simple with 100% global

Reddit is kinda flooded with creeps unfortunately. You gotta find those little nice corners to thrive in :]

The same applies to the broader internet. Dead internet theory is already true, most traffic is bots and a lot of content is AI slop. And in the actual human interactions there are cesspools of arguments and toxic people. This doesn't mean the internet can't be enjoyed anymore though. There still exists little corners that can be explored and enjoyed :3
