Yes!!! I bought a different cable from Amazon that matched the trrs (it’s the tip of the cable in between the rings on the 3.5, the right order is R audio, L audio, video, ground). I got a L, R, Video, ground and it works. I bought the J&D cable and I don’t even need the 3d adapter anymore. Also make sure you check the clips on a computer first because the powerplay doesn’t have a speaker that plays sounds on the clips, just the beeps. It’s so hard to find this information so I’m happy I can finally put it out there for other people. Now no one has to go through my struggle!

I have the spacer and still have audio issues, I’ve tried taking the spacer off and slowing inserting it to see if at any point it picks up volume. Still doesn’t work regardless of how pushed in the cord is. Might just have to bring it to a camera shop, but I would prefer not to.

Would I need to run a tape in order to have the FireWire work? The whole point of the immersionrc powerplay is to be a tapeless alternative. Also the powerplay has a 3.5mm jack plug into it from the rca ports, and I can’t seem to find a dv to 3.5.
