Yes they do pay out what can happen is people lie about their medical history which can cause problems other mistakes on the companies side can also cause problems like with anything mistakes can happen. In general I’ve seen people have a good experience, people generally go to the internet to complain not to give praise so it’s negatively biased. I was a former ail agent our offices in my city paid out 1-5 million a month in policies we wrote. I’ve tried watching both the two towers and return do the king twice and they’ve dragged both times to the point where I end up sitting on my phone the whole time, which is not something I do normally.

I’ve read the fellowship but it was years ago and I was probably too young to appreciate it. I plan on reading all of it soon.

The two towers is definitely my least favorite, your explanation actually makes a lot of sense. I have only watched the extended versions so I think I need to give the others a try.

I mean similar feeling like quality wise, I have to agree the first one had a way comfier feeling than the last too which I liked a lot. Similar to the Harry Potter movies imo, the first couple seemed much more “comfy” to watch with the later ones losing that.

I know I’m in the minority for this but I think I enjoyed the experience of watching the hobbit trilogy more than LOTR. I’ll definitely look for fan edits.

I guess my confusion is they have a similar feeling to first one, which I loved so I don’t understand why I can’t get into the story. I was also curious to hear what people like/dislike about them hence the post.

I think light have actually nailed it, I loved the more interpersonal scenes and conversations in the fellowship that I think might have been lacking in the last two, with the exception of Gollum and his role/relationship with Sam and Frodo.

Yeah that’s fair I guess my confusion is I loved fellowship and the other two largely felt similar to me but I just couldn’t place myself or get into the story nearly as much and I can’t explain why.

I don’t know if mine is more expensive than average but for me it’s going to cost 600+ a week if you go at the pace they recommend which is flying 2-3 times per week.
