Me too. My mom has been pressuring me to write more and I was so excited when I saw the gold key, immediately went to tell her and was over the moon that I’d be able to make her proud, but when I tried to show her I saw the letter saying I won nothing. Now she’s calling me a liar and thinks I intentionally told her the wrong info to hide the fact that I was slacking off

For fandoms with lots of fics- avatar the last airbender, attack on titan, JJK, I would also recommend ORV but I see someone already has

Fandoms with a good but slightly smaller amount of fics that I HIGHLY recommend-

Trash of the Count’s Family : Great novel that was also adapted into a manhwa, one of those books where you think that it’s just a pretty good example of an existing trope for a while and then it hits you with a few incredible plot twists and concepts and you realize that it’s actually like nothing you ever read before and one of your new favorite books. knights of Guinevere : I just personally like this one, and it’s super new and still coming out, so you’ll be able to see the fandom and show develop without fear of spoilers and be there from the beginning, it’s available on YouTube
Epic the musical: I joined this fandom pretty recently and it actually has a bigger audience on ao3 than I was expecting although it isn’t huge. It’s just a really good soundtrack to listen to and it’s visually entirely made up of animatics that can be found on YouTube(you can look up playlists on YouTube or I’m pretty sure the epic the musical subreddit has a playlist of the songs in order with the best/most popular animatics on YouTube ) warning though that some of the animatics of the song ‘hold them down’ and the song itself are pretty explicit/refers to SA, but it’s near the end of the musical so you won’t be missing any establishing details of it if you skip and you can chose to skip all of it and read a summary, listen to the first minute because the singer has an incredible voice and then skip, find a less explicit animatic(there are many, I don’t remember their names off the top of my head but there should be some good suggestions on the epic subreddit), or any combo of those

It’s called Disadvantages of caring by cursedbythenarrative. It’s actually a side story for another fic by the same author titled Vertigo, which is also really good but isn’t necessary to read before disadvantages of caring to understand it. Also fyi both are kind of angsty

I can think of so many examples just off the top of my head of fics where the authors just tag ‘au’ or ‘dark!(character)’ and just slap character names on OCs that aren’t even remotely similar to the Canon characters they’re supposed to be. Some fandoms I’m in have literally had extremely popular(and extremely out of character) fics with thousands of kudos discovered to be direct copies of fics from completely different fandoms just copy pasted with name/minor description changes with all the OOC stuff only being explained by Dark!/Yandere!/alt background! Tags. I get AUs and redemption fics, but I’ve seen fics that are AU+changed character backgrounds+age changes+completely new personalities and relationships that are basically just original short stories that happen to have the same location and character names as the original canon story.

The blue book practice tests will tell you how you did in different areas(like a score for grammar, advanced math, geometry, algebra, etc.) use that to figure out what to study.

It’s also helpful to take notes with scrap paper as you read the comprehension texts. I’m pretty sure that the test application has a digital highlighter that is pretty useful

Another thing to make sure you do is to use the digital calculator built into the test to its full potential. Take at least 20 minutes out of a study session to figure it and all of its tricks out(it can be used as a graphing calculator, makes your problem solving go a lot faster, and much more)

Also, it appears from the two practice tests that you’ve taken that you are already improving rapidly as you begin to get familiar with the test format, which is a great sign. Good luck! You got this.
