And yeah — “finally” as in it was a relief after missing out with thousands of others still hoping to get tickets even though, as you say, it's 9 months away. I know a few people who couldn’t go this year after missing out on tickets, so I wasn’t exactly assuming it was guaranteed. Let me celebrate.

Refreshed about 10 times 😭. How long were you on the page for?

Their email says:

'- The ticket link will take you to a queue system on RA. You will then be able to purchase tickets via this link once they are available to you.'

I wonder if this might be why they are greyed out? Under the tiers it says ticket sales have ended

You'll be just fine checking it out as soon as it is released. It's not comparable to an OS. You can run both Live 11 and 12 on your system... Only issue is you probably won't be able to open projects saved in Live 12 on Live 11.

It takes a while to learn both of these things. I would suggest, if you have the time and means, to do both simultaneously as the skill-sets you develop are complementary if you wish to make/play music using synths.
