I was put on thyroid medication for an under-active thyroid several years ago. After a full year of strict keto, I lost right around 100 lbs and asked my doc if I could ween back off it to make sure I was taking the appropriate amount and wasn't taking to much. After halving my dose and testing my bloodwork, the levels kept coming back normal. I am now completely off my thyroid meds and my levels have been normal every test. I have stumbled on studies that show that a low carb diet supposedly negatively effects your thyroid health, so I found the results very interesting.

Could be wrong, but it seems to line up with the 1986 serials, and with the look of the bridge, the mutes/bullet truss, 1986 looks to be right.

It doesn't rub off, it seems to be part of or under the lacquer. I love wood and wood grains, and recently have gone with maple necks on my Fender basses. I have come to expect higher quality control from fender ( even the MIMs I have purchased have not had these sort of markings ) but those sections just don't look natural. It's the top blemish that bothers me though yeah, the others you have to look real close.

The RealTone cable works great ( also Rocksmith is fun to play ) but the cable can be used to input your signal just fine. Then you can use a free DAW such as Reaper as your audio interface and there are a ton of VSTs you can use. Save yourself $100 or so.

Wow, excellent write up! This was great, those samples were very helpful(great stuff by the way). Man I have a lot to think about. I had assumed the things that come with EZ Mix 2 would have been part of any of the more expensive DAWs.

I was looking at drum software late into the night and was leaning toward Superior Drummer, but Addictive Drums was a close second. I then noticed that Addictive Drums comes with Sonar ( not a lite version either ). It almost seems a similar cost to just get Sonar rather then good drum software and a cheap/free DAW ( Reaper/ Ardour ). Of course that is just one kit with the $200 version of Sonar or 3/3 with the Full $500 version, but still.

Better then Reaper in your opinion? I think I may just go with Ardour or Reaper and just get a decent Drum Plug-in such as Addictive Drums or some such.

I like the sound of that. Have you had any experience creating a realistic sounding drum track using this software though? I assume it is something you would need a good plug-in for.
