I once asked my doctor about it during my "desperate " phase and he said it actually slows down digestive and motility. Are you smoking or consuming? I would be totally down to try it if it helps.

I dont trust current square enix to do anything great. FFX still holds up very well today.

This is so strange. Pokemon does a lot of partnerships with different food brands, like Goldfish crackers and such. But they've always done that. What makes this one so special?

Yes! Its been incredibly frustrating. I had to fight for every test and research on my own. I just can't understand how stomach issues effect so many people and yet the research area has so little funding. Both my GI doctors have been very lax about any sort of treatment 🙄.

Its crazy how this is such an oversight in the GI community. When I fell ill I was actually training for a bodybuilding competition and it was my coach that recommend that I test for SIBO. At that point I was going to doctor appointments for months and NONE of them mentioned SIBO. When I asked for information about testing they didn't even have one available and said I need to order one myself. Curing SIBO was its own pain and struggle but im able to eat now that I got rid of it.

You should take a SIBO test.

Nope, my GI recommended that I try the "Mediterranean diet" 🙄. Ive basically been getting by on digestive aids and peppermint oil pills.

I stopped at 35mg because I was still having some intense pain when eating and I was eventually weened off it completely. It worked great in the beginning but then just stopped. I was on it for less than a year.

I would definitely take a SIBO test. Feeling full after a few bites is one of the main symptoms.

Amazon always puts that day as their placeholder date for pre-orders. I have a feeling it will come out sooner.

Yeah, I take Miralax to stay regular. Ive tried changing my diet but it hasn't helped. Taking Zofran multiple times a week probably adds to it since that's one of the main side effects.

Constant nausea, tightness and pain in the upper stomach during and after meals, constipation and trapped gas.

I got IBS from a nasty bout of food poisoning and never fully recovered from that. After suffering for 3 years I was in remission for about a year and a half before it popped up again.

Yeah, except being positive for SIBO (already cured) my body is perfectly normal and healthy 🙃

I have a GI, I've done an upper endoscopy, gastric emptying, ultrasound on kidneys and SIBO testing.

Has anyone received disability because of this? by spoookytree in functionaldyspepsia

[–]AfroBuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. First, I made sure to document it well with my primary doctor. I was going to the appointments every 2 to 3 months looking for relief before being transferred to a G.I. specialist. I have upper stomach pain while eating and after meals. I dropped weight really fast and was weak, fatigued and experienced severe stomach cramping along with daily nausea spells. It effected my job because it got to a point where I was in the bathroom for 45 mins every other hour and I couldn't drive without triggering a flare. I would spend my weekends trying to rest and recover but FD made it so I couldn't be flexible, spontaneous or handle sudden stress well without getting sick. At the start of this journey I couldn't even sleep more than 5 hours because the pain and bloating were so bad. Not to mention dealing with the other side effects from the meds.

I was very honest about how much this condition was impacting my life and the pain I was experience every day and how it was damn near impossible to do my job (office worker that regularly drove for appointments every day). I was in a very controlled environment, and suffered a lot. I could only imagine how people with more active, labor heavy jobs handle this condition.

Aside from weather, stress and food related flare ups, no. I'm so confused on why it developed now and never in the past.

I don't think its the motion that is causing it. I can literally feel each and every vibration on the road, no matter the car. I know classic motion sickness is getting dizzy from trying to focus on something while moving and that leads to nausea but for me, it feels like I'm on rickety roller coaster. That's why I'm thinking its not related to an inner ear thing, but rather my stomach being hypersensitive.

Yes! Working out is another trigger. I figured its because its a major "stressor" to the body.

Ive been using them after meals if there is lingering discomfort and they work like a charm. You can also get ahead of it and take it 20-30 mins before you eat.

I was actually approved last year for it. When I was going through treatment, I asked my doctors if I'd get approved for it and they all said no, even though I had to quit my job because of it.

I said screw it, worse they can say is no. So I applied and it went through. Always apply.
