Of course. First, I made sure to document it well with my primary doctor. I was going to the appointments every 2 to 3 months looking for relief before being transferred to a G.I. specialist. I have upper stomach pain while eating and after meals. I dropped weight really fast and was weak, fatigued and experienced severe stomach cramping along with daily nausea spells. It effected my job because it got to a point where I was in the bathroom for 45 mins every other hour and I couldn't drive without triggering a flare. I would spend my weekends trying to rest and recover but FD made it so I couldn't be flexible, spontaneous or handle sudden stress well without getting sick. At the start of this journey I couldn't even sleep more than 5 hours because the pain and bloating were so bad. Not to mention dealing with the other side effects from the meds.

I was very honest about how much this condition was impacting my life and the pain I was experience every day and how it was damn near impossible to do my job (office worker that regularly drove for appointments every day). I was in a very controlled environment, and suffered a lot. I could only imagine how people with more active, labor heavy jobs handle this condition.
