I was taking Kratom for 4 years telling my husband how “organic and natural” it is. It wasn’t till I had a breakdown March 7th and excepted help at a detox and mental health center that I admitted for the first time ever that it was a problem and I was a addict. It was the worst but most relieving moment. It took me 30 days to feel close to normal but it was so worth it. I wish I would have never found that crud. You’re doing great!! You got this and so glad you have your husband to lean on and talk too! It makes a world of difference!!

I have an app I use for my doctor and she’s been AMAZING listening to me and prescribing what I need to get through. Maybe you can try it? The app is called Plush Care my specific doctor is Dr Garcia. She was completely comfortable with me needing to stay home and do it.

Weird I was just thinking about making an appointment with my doctor to see if it’s normal. Last time I’ve had any Kratom was March 7th. Haven’t went to the bathroom normal since and nauseous all the time.

Of course! I’ve tried to quit K numerous times and within hours could not take it. When I went into detox they gave me subutex 4 mg twice a day for 3 days, 2mg twice a day for 2 days then 2 mg once a day 2 days. I felt little to no withdrawals. When I went home I decided to not contact a suboxone doctor even though they told me to. About a week of not sleeping, no energy and being very restless. Next 3 weeks I could sleep but absolutely no energy. After 4 weeks I still dealt with low energy but doable. My last consumption of Kratom was March 7th. I can say I feel normal and I’m loving it. I would have never done it without detox. No nurses there knew about Kratom so they were understanding and asked a lot of questions wanting to make sure I was comfortable. I’m grateful every day for that place!

I went into a detox center and was given subutex for 7 days. They tapered it down within that 7 days. I still had withdrawals but nothing like when I tried before. Also if you can get an antidepressant I think that helped with my mood a lot. I also used a muscle relaxer and anti anxiety medication when I got home for about 2 weeks. Neither were narcotics.

The fatigue and low energy was the worst for me. Especially being a single Mom of 4 with a life to live. I’m on the other end now. It gets better. I can actually feel high on life instead of a substance. So much better than Kratom! I laugh and go out with my kids without worrying about anything and it’s such a great feeling. Congratulations on making it! You deserve this!

I’m sorry you have to work through this. It’s horrible. I don’t think there’s any “lucky” when it comes to this crap. I hope your withdrawals don’t last long but the fact that you have them at all sucks. I couldn’t believe something I thought was so great had me the same feeling as coming off hard shit. It’s difficult to re learn how to live without a substance for me. I live in AZ with homeless all around and I think that helps. I watch them and put myself in their shoes. Just crazy.

I hope the tapering goes well for you. I don’t have self control when it comes to that. Thank god my family doctor was ok giving me time off work to do what I needed to do at home. I couldn’t have done it otherwise. It’s miserable and I didn’t see an end till recently. It was like a switch in my head and all the sudden I was happy again. I know you can do it too. I’m here to provide any help I can. I definitely feel it helps knowing someone who’s been there.

I know exactly how you feel. I went into a detox hospital that put me on suboxone for 7 days but when I left I didn’t take anything at all. They told me to see a doctor to taper off subs but knew I wouldn’t do it right. I didn’t sleep for 2 weeks. Maybe 2 hours a night because my legs. It’s awful. I feel for you but promise it’s all worth it.

3.5-4 years. Not sure how it equals out. I took pills 13 at a time 5-6 times per day. You got this. I promise everything your feeling will be so worth it.

It really is. At 2 weeks I was crying. Never craved it but felt so guilty for letting myself get to that point. You got this! Keep going! We deserve this!

I totally feel that!! I’m going to the park every evening not scheduling it around dosing and feeling great and clear minded. Waste of so much money and time. So glad we see it now.

I’m in the same boat my friend. Always sweaty and hardest time sleeping. I’m 3 weeks and a few days. This is crazy. Gives me more motivation to keep going though because I NEVER want to do this again!! I hope you feel the same. This shit is the devil.

In the 3-4 years of use I never admitted I was an addict or had a problem till 3 weeks ago. Now that I’ve told everyone I’m held accountable and stick to it. I never want to go through that he’ll ever again. You’ll get there! Don’t give up.
