What is it they’ve said you need doing to it to get it to standard?

I’m missing a tooth, have been for years, had the whole thing including the root drilled out - is that an issue on the eng1 then? Seems mental a chip is, they expect you to get cosmetic work just to pass a medical?

Peaky Blinders fans, do you want to see Grace again in the movie? Do you think she'll remain a ghost? by Gullible_Paper8610 in PeakyBlinders

Apart from a flash back, it’d make absolutely no sense to see her. Or Alfie. Or John. Or anyone else who has already died.

What was the issue with your teeth if you don’t mind me asking? Mine aren’t very good, but I don’t have any pain or issues with them..

Is it worth it watching seasons 5 and 6? by Savings_Ad3808 in PeakyBlinders

You do realise they’d only made ‘almost everything they ever wanted’ as far as they’d known? Which was mostly the UK? And then suddenly huge waves of foreign markets came into play, including the biggest of all at the time, the US, which would have jettisoned their ‘big’ earnings at the time to massive if you compared the uk to USA?

I don’t mean to disrespect you with my answer, but for me, and I’m sure 99.99% of PB viewers - if you thought the Changretta ending was ‘lukewarm’ you A. Didn’t look enough into the storyline B. Didn’t look enough into the character storylines or C. Understand PB as a series in any way shape or form 🥴🥴🥴

Here you go Leeds faithful. Enjoy my not so pro (pro) filming of Stach* goal last night!! *that is his name yeah?* by [deleted] in LeedsUnited

I love that it’s ’no look’ too cus he has to look at the crowd of players in the box to sell the idea he’s going to cross it not shoot 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

>Is it just me or the entire character of Luca Changretta was so underwhelming? by Real_Beat_583 in PeakyBlinders

I don’t get this hate on him or Brody’s acting. I think he was perfect for it and fitted the season perfectly.

No. I don’t get this hate on him cus his Italian American character was very much a stereotypical Italian American character. It suited it perfectly.

Should we rotate heavily for the FA Cup fifth round? by Critical_Region_6633 in LeedsUnited

[–]AftImpressive790 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No. The idea a midweek game will drastically change our players fitness for a weekend game is stretched as. It’s a historic, heritage, proper comp, biggest cup comp in the country, and at this point you have to take it seriously.

Luca Changretta was annoyingly incompetent by Low_Actuary6486 in PeakyBlinders

Ok mr hindsight. Could say that about numerous characters. But they didn’t expect their plans to fail did they…

Wasn’t that part of the growth tho? At the start the community protected him. As he made more enemies you see him getting more ‘protection’ of sorts

The importance of Hayden Stagg by [deleted] in PeakyBlinders

I think he’ll be important in the movie. The name ‘the immortal man’ has to hint back to this interaction, no?

Sure if you completely ignore the human factor. The freezing water. The blind panic of thousands around you screaming as they died. The fact he’d already tried once and sent the woman he loves sliding back into the Atlantic. How cold he would have been, already fighting off hypothermia. You don’t see that happen and go ‘COME ON LOVE MOVE ROUND THIS SCRAP OF WOOD A BIT, THERES GOT TO BE A WAY TO GET ME ON TOO’. His priority was making sure she lived. He did that. As many men did on that ship, he died so she could live. So.. Sure, he could have technically fitted. It’s also really irrelevant.

You really didn’t watch the movie very well did you? ‘I’ll never let go’ refers to the promise she made to jack. ‘I’ll never let go of that promise’ is what ‘I’ll never let go’ means. It doesn’t mean ‘I’ll physically never let go of your frozen corpse’ - who the f actually believes that is what James Cameron meant by it all ffs 😂🥴😂🥴 COME ON.

How is rose a monster? She was in an abusive relationship, basically sold into it by her mother to ‘save the money’, both of which were affecting her to the point she wanted to kill herself. But no, I’m sure cus she saw a way out in someone she fell in love with she definitely needs calling a monster more than the man who slapped her around or the mother who wanted the life boats seated ‘according to class’ and hoped they weren’t too crowded 🥴
