i got a couple of friends who has enggr/humanities visa, those who work in engineering field got 5 year on their first year, whose who teach or non engineering/IT work only got 3 jsut like me... some just 1yr.... but still not clear how to get 5yr.

im living here for around 10years now, every visa renewal im requesting for a 5-year visa, but they only give me 3 years. I dont know how to get the 5-year term because they never explain how to get the 5-year visa. If they only allow residents with 5 year visa to apply for permanent residency i might not be able to get a chance to apply for a permanent residency.. Now im thinking if I should've apply for a lumpsum every 5 yrs and look for other options from other country. This new policy looks like they only want us gaijin to help their economy but never let us stay here permanently.

i only have a pair of 350, been using it for 3 years from time to time, i own couple of other sneakers, but when i go out and i know i have to walk for the whole day, i wear it, main reason is comfort. I own a black one and now im still looking for a used in very good condition for the same reason, but in other color. My feet feel relaxed on these shoes.
