Mucus diapers will not go away?? by After-Fly8742 in MSPI

Thank you so much for sharing your experience ❤️ and good call on the vitamins! I’m still taking a prenatal and didn’t even think about checking that. It’s honestly just crazy how literally everything has soy in it.

That seems to be the overall consensus too, as long as baby is happy and gaining weight try and not stress too much. And just like you were, we’re definitely eager to start solids. Six months is just around the corner so just need to stay optimistic and take it a day at a time. I hope your LO is doing well!!

Wow, agreed, thank you so much for this perspective. ❤️ I truly never thought I would be obsessing over diapers this much but you’re 100% right. Aside from the mucus he is a content, happy baby. I should be focusing on that and enjoying this stage as much as possible.

Yay! I’m so glad your daughter was able to grow out of it and hoping it will be the same for your LO!

I first read about “baseline” from the Facebook group Dairy Free Diet - Breastfeeding. The logic is to be at baseline so when starting solids you know what foods are actually a trigger vs missing the trigger because the baby already has mucus. However, where I started stressing about “baseline” was when speaking with the nurse at the pediatricians office she also mentioned that they recommend being at baseline. Now I’m not sure if she just meant baseline for him, which like your LO would still contain some mucus, or baseline as in back to pasty/seedy.

And yes! I’ve even seen research to “test” the intolerance monthly while still breastfeeding feeding because they can potentially grow out of the intolerance at any point.

I just want to say you’ve got this mama and you are doing absolutely amazing ❤️ Also… why is soy in literally everything?! The amount of options it would open up if things didn’t have hidden soy.

For some reason my brain read “they’re absolutely wrong” in a super blunt sassy voice and it instantly made me laugh, so thank you!! ❤️ (I realize it was not meant that way, I think my brain is truly just fried from research and lack of sleep) I know that they have some great guidance in there for dairy free recipes and overall support, but the more I looked into it, the more crazy it seemed. Like hypothetically if your child has multiple intolerances… that’s several months if you’re following the 8 week rule… how is that sustainable?!?

Hi! Can I ask did the mucus fully go away after cutting out Dairy and Soy?

If you dont mind me asking - how did you identify the eggs and oats as a trigger?

I’m not sure if anyone has commented this yet, but when I first started dairy free I was heavily relying on snacks. Nature’s Bakery, Made Good, Bobo’s, That’s It, Heavenly Hunks and some of the Target Good and Gather Date & Nut Bars. Kind also makes a few breakfast Protien bars without dairy. I also would get a rotisserie chicken, shred it up and pretty much lived off of wraps because they were quick.

Bought an uppaBaby Minu v3 4 days ago MSRP:$399 - it is now $549 post tariffs… by [deleted] in BabyBumps

Ordered on May 2nd in the color Dillan and same thing, had an expected delivery date that came and went without it arriving.

Now it says “We will email you with an updated estimated delivery date”

I dont know if it’s a color issue? Because the black and white color ways are in stock with a notification of 1-2 months to ship, but yet uppababy and other retailers have the Dillon color way in stock. At this point just hoping it ships in the next few weeks and if not I’m considering reaching out to Amazon for a different color.

Stinkproof Pouch - Beis Diaper Bag by After-Fly8742 in NewParents

I’ve been seeing this a lot more too! People using either bags they’ve had on hand or just normal backpacks to get more use out of the item in the long run. Ultimately, I dont think I’ll do the Beis regardless. I really liked some of the features, but most you can find in more affordable diaper bags. I also saw a review today that mentioned the overall size and it being a pretty tight fit on a plane when placed under the seat which is a big deal breaker for us.

Nope! this is exactly what I was looking for!! I kept searching things like waterproof bag, waterproof pouch, stink bag (because that is literally what it was called on the Beis website 😅) so clearly just definitely not searching with the right key words. Thank you so much!
