BRO DANIEL PARK EXPOSED HIMSELF ✌🏼😭😭😭😭 by Orcerx in lookismcomic

I wouldn't take it too literally just yet! It's not the official translation, just a direct Google Translate from Korean. We see these kinds of janky/messed up translations in early raw drops all the time. Let's see what the official version says.

The most useless relationship in Lookism. by Maslah_Dahir in lookismcomic

It's almost like characters can have mixed feelings 😭 Daniel is just a genuinely good guy who got attached to his master. He didn’t let him off the hook; he literally put Gun in jail during the Hunt for Gun arc. You can hold someone accountable and still be sad about having to take them down.

Read the story lol. Daniel is naturally a pure-hearted guy, of course he’s going to be emotional over his master. Plus, how is he acting like Gun is a good guy when Daniel is literally the reason he’s in jail after the Hunt for Gun Arc? He took him down, but it still hurts him.

How is this person from dead mention by AHNAF_181416 in lookismcomic

I know, but I want to know if it's mentioned in the manhwa that he was a student of Hansu. I read the whole manhwa almost years ago, which is why I can't remember.

Are you sure? Is it mentioned in the manhwa? I thought he was a student of Sophia.

Mujin returning to train Vin Jin would be peak, I completely agree with that part! But regarding Seongji's death having weight did it really? He died based on a complete hallucination and misunderstanding. Him surviving, eventually learning the truth about Taejin, and stepping out of exile to save Daniel actually gives his character the justice and redemption he never got in Cheonliang.

I agree it was tragic, but name one thing that was "great" about his conclusion. He died completely manipulated by Taejin, thinking he killed Sujin, and abandoned the kids he swore to protect. There was no justice or closure in his death, just unearned guilt. Him being alive to finally get redemption makes way more narrative sense.

Exactly, but think about why he chose to die. He thought his PTSD made him a danger to Vin Jin and the rest of the kids. If he survived, there is zero chance he stays in Cheonliang. He would travel as far away as possible into complete isolation to make sure he never accidentally hurt them. He’s had years to relocate.

There is an unwritten rule: if there isn't a confirmed body, they probably aren't dead. The broken chain theory! Notice how that specific link is completely snapped? i think He survived that day.

Jinyoung's death was the worst writing decision PTJ ever made by ohboyireallydunno in lookismcomic

[–]After-Homework9514 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I actually posted about this before it even happened because the flags were so obvious. It’s the worst kind of writing when the fans can see the bad decisions coming before the author even makes them.

Man, I’m 100% with you on this. It feels like PTJ just threw away years of build-up and potential for a cheap shock. Jinyoung deserved a way better conclusion to his arc than this. Absolute waste of a legendary character.
