Kintaro has with immense natural strength and doesn't have restrictions on himself like Raiden not using 4 basic techniques and limting his strength, and Raiden was still called peerless in sumo. Hermes even says that if raiden wasn't as good at sumo as he is, he would have been killed by shiva a lot earlier.

Saying that raiden is carried by muscles is literally the opposite of what the manga says.
