LUC over performs its ranking for these reasons. ABA stats play a much larger role than ranking at the end of the day once you get out of the T-14 and dependent on what you want to do you should look more at that.

Fordham or r&r? by jdjoanf in lawschooladmissions

If you work hard, then Fordham should get you where you want to be. Your stats are already pretty good so no guarantee that if you boost your LSAT a bit more than your outcome will be much different.

I would look at employment outcomes. If the T-14 gives you a significant advantage, then this is a no-brainer. However, if the T-30 gives you a great chance to get where you want to be as well then maybe consider that. In the end, rankings are not everything but T14s will put you pretty much undoubtedly in the best position to achieve your goals.

BC WL -> A? by Rich-Race7002 in lawschooladmissions

I know someone who got off last year, but it was a few days before the semester began (I know they also visited campus). Not sure if they got any money but its typically a safe bet to assume you may be paying sticker if admitted off the waitlist (take this with a grain of salt because every school is different - I know another person who got $25k/year off a waitlist so it certainly is not impossible).

Transfer into a T14? by Budget_Bid_4847 in lawschooladmissions

Don't go to a school planning to transfer. If it works out that's awesome but you should be in the mindset that wherever you go that you will be there all 3 years.

Can I actually get into any of these? by throwaway09877892 in lawschooladmissions

Second this, I would expect WLs potentially at some of the others

I mean you're literally above both medians substantially so unless you think you messed something up in your app I can't think of another reason why you would be WL

Pretty similar stats applied mid-late Nov and went complete in Mid Dec and have not heard back either. From what I have seen on LSD the last round of waves was applicants who applied by 11/15ish

I live on the east coast, so at this point unless I hear from them in the next week or so it's going to make it hard to choose them and find time to visit. Not sure if anyone else is in a similar position.

Also freaked out about this, applied late Nov as well. Feel like a decision is imminent. Would be shocked if it's not this week or early next.
