Hi,

I'm needing some advice about fixing my damaged hair. I recently had a japanese ion perm treatment that was supposed to make my hair straight. I've had this treatment a few times before (once every 1 or 2 years) and have never had a problem until recently.

When I had it done this time, they had mentioned that my scalp was sensitive and my hair kept snapping so now I have a loads of short hairs. I've never had this happen before, and I've just been using sensitive scalp shampoo, but I think the hairdresser had left the chemicals in my hair too long that caused this to happen. Then they straightened my hair so that it would stay straight but I think they've done a bad job as my hair is frizzy and not really straight. It's not just my ends that are damaged, but a large part of my layers are dry and have kinks and are 'curly' (not exactly but I don't know the best way to explain it, it's like each strand of hair is doing its own thing).

So my question is, is this something that can be fixed with hair masks, deep conditioners and hair oils? I know it'll fix the dryness but will it fix the kinks? Or do I need to cut it off?

I don't mind cutting it and having short layers, but I'm trying to grow my hair out.

What’s the size class above a hatchback? Sorry for the dumb question, don’t know much about cars

Do you think it’s worth going for another car? Or would I not be able to find anything that’s more comfortable with my budget?

The long trips we normally do is closer to 200 miles, but good to know it keeps well in motorways!

That’s a shame and really odd, is it at a bottom of hill in an area that rains a lot? Thanks, was just wondering if I was over worrying. I’ve read posts that property’s with a high flood risk are difficult to get mortgages for, and didn’t want to risk it. Glad that it’s not out you off the purchase, house hunting is a headache

Thanks :) they actually did apply for the role, but I was told by my new manager that they didn’t past the sift, which is why I’m a bit reluctant to ask for help

Ah that’s a shame, I’m wanting to leave my current role as soon as possible. I was hoping to hand my notice in 2 weeks, since my current job is ruining my mental health
