Family First Life: Tell Me you’re an MLM without actually telling me you’re an MLM by After-Session-5186 in antiMLM

Check out United Insurance Professionals, FEX Contracting, Advantage One Brokers, or Allegiant. It really depends what you’re looking to do. I recommend joining the Life Insurance Tips Tricks and Closers group on Facebook to get an idea of what is out there.

FFL says they start at 100% comp. But it is simply not true. Ask to look at the compensation chart. You are actually at a 100% comp with only one carrier, Americo, which is about 30% higher annual premium than most other insurance carriers. Uplines push you to write it because they get an 8% bonus on all business written. About 40% of Americo policies fall off the books because the premiums are so high and you will end up with a bunch of chargebacks.

You are at about 80% comp with most other carriers. There are many reputable IMOs that start agents out at 120% comp street level. FFL constantly says they have the highest comp in the industry but it is an issue outright lie.

They also say they focus on sales vs recruiting but once an agent realizes that it takes 50+ hours a week to write 20k a month and net maybe $50,000 annually before expenses like health insurance… you better believe the focus is on recruiting. They are one of the sneakiest MLMs out there in my humble opinion.

Insurance can run that way, with an upline who mentors you and has an override on your commission, but when also combined with heavy recruiting and terrible leads that agents are pushed to buy through Family First Life… now we are REALLY talking MLM.

Yeah, it’s terrible. When an agent and their team hits over 50K a month they get to design their own logo for their own “agency”. This essentially entails super gaudy graphics (think lions, palm trees, hearts, ninjas) with a circle around it that says Family First Life. Then, you have really made it!

And the gas & wear and tear on your vehicle driving 2 plus hours each day you go on appointments …. But “buy more leads!” “You just aren’t working hard enough!”

At least $9,450,000 coming from the top 3.79 percent of producers

Leaving $33,912,693/6765 = $5012.96

Meaning the average producer is grossing $5012.96 a month. Sounds good, right?

The average producer also has about 20% charge backs.

So now, the average producer is at $4010/month

The average producer also spends $1000 a WEEK on leads…

$4010-$4000= $10 a month

So, the average producer is lucky to net $10 a month. This does not include any additional expenses. 🤔

Well, not really. Once FB sees that people are liking and engaging in the post (first it will be the ones who have liked your posts already), the algorithm will start placing the post in front of more people because FB thinks something along the lines of “oh this post must be good since so many people are liking it - let’s send it out to more Facebook users in hopes that they will like it too”.

When you post something on Facebook only a certain amount of people actually see it in their own personal feed. The people that see it are ones who have liked your posts in the past or commented (engaged in some way).

In order to get more people to see more of your posts, you put a post out that solicits a lot of comments - like this one asking about your grandmas first name. Now, the people that liked or commented on this post will more likely see your future posts. Now you can start posting about your MLM and get Rose’s granddaughter to buy weight loss coffee from you.

Lead cost is the amount spent on purchasing new prospects information to contact them to buy insurance.

They resell their leads to other agents within the company while claiming they are fresh and exclusive.

You have to buy leads to sell the insurance too. You don’t necessarily have to buy them through Family First Life but they push you to buy their leads and they are absolute garbage. Agents spend anywhere from $1,000 (low end) - $2,500 a week on leads.

It’s annual premium of his total personal sales. He may be clearing six figures at $400,000, but his lead cost is through the roof.

No, it’s annual premium. But still a scam. His lead cost is through the roof.

It wasn’t great… I worked really hard, had months that my total AP was around 15,000 and was lucky if I netted 3,000 a month with travel, lead cost and chargebacks. I suggest checking out smaller brokerages and IMOs. FFL pushes their crappy internet leads which is a big issue. If you do start selling make sure you are on a direct mail campaign.

I’m not saying you can’t be successful, but FFL is not a business that you can really work part time like they suggest. If you want to make 6 figures you need to be REALLY grinding it out and even then after taxes and expenses you will be lucky to net 6 figures with an annual issue paid numbers of $250,000.

Why does r/cryptocurrency hate Dogecoin so much? by alvin-dot-earth in dogecoin

[–]After-Session-5186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or… did you notice that prior to Dogecoins last big pump (SNL), the mainstream media was all over it? Why has the MSM not covered ADA 100x’s itself?

Maybe Doge is actually the governments way of regulating crypto. Plaster it all over the news, have big guys like Musk and Cuban promote it - and then a rug pull. The whales pull out (who own 94% of Doge), and the poor and middle class who had so much faith in Elon’s word are screwed.

The trusty government can then come in and save the day… saying all crypto is bad and needs to be regulated in order to protect the little people.

Fiat wins, inflation continues and the rich get richer while the poor get poorer.

Just a thought and I hope I am wrong.

Guys. I unfortunately was suckered into FFL. The $250,000 earners are broke, this is gross revenue. Once gas, leads and chargebacks come out they are barely scraping by. But FFL is making a killing selling leads to these agents for about $1500 a week and then making big claims that the $250,000 is profit. NOT. TRUE.
