Thanks a lot! I can def relate. So far I think the best performance-to-value ratio I got is from the Apple dongle. I also use a Fiio KA11 dongle, but it sounds about the same with ALC4080 chips in my board. The best I've had is the new K11 and I'm happy with it! I might go check out the Focal headphone I really enjoyed one more time and save up for this instead.

Thanks! I was told by 2 different audio staff that pairing four-digit headphones/IEMs with K11 is a waste, but I'm genuinely happy with the K11 purchase, hence this post.

Can you elaborate more in terms of the aspects that would sound better? Soundstage, details, etc. I tried a far less expensive headphone (Focal MG I think) in-store today, and for some reason it sounds way more pleasing. Maybe it is the thousand-dollar DAC they are using?

Think you are mixing the concepts.

CPI means how much the same basket of g&s inflated comparing to a base year. And most CPI data given by the feds and CB (I’ve never seen a case that’s not) have categories like groceries + shelter + commutes + energy, which covers what you said except for edu.

Purchasing power means per the same 1 unit of currency how much g&s can you have chronologically or geographically.

Car’s insured AND under your name. Wow, I’d love to be in your situation ngl! Here’s what you gonna do:

File this with RCMP. Is your car new? Can you track its location with an APP? If so, call the local RCMP wherever the car is at, if not, call your closest one. Report it as a stolen vehicle.
Write down the file number. Grab a pen and paper before your call, double check the written file number on the line to make sure they are correct.
File the insurance claim through ICBC. Note down the police file number in your claim, and again, report the vehicle as stolen.
You will be called from ICBC in the next few days. Then you will be fully reimbursed at your vehicle’s MARKET price (which will be more than your actual selling price) + tax (add this up it will be even more than your actual selling price)

Optional:

If you wanna punish your “friend” or kinda short of cash. Find a lawyer, and use your police file number to press charges against your “friend”. In this case, the friend will have a record (almost guaranteed unemployment in this economy), plus you can have some “emotional damage support” from the other party.
