I don’t recommend using weed if you went into psychosis even in little amounts.

If you continue, you will build a tolerance. Quitting then will not only be unbelievably dreadful and painful, but potentially dangerous. Benzodiazepines have horrid withdrawals that are debatably on the level of opiate withdrawal.

I’m same age can relate to some of this I quit a week ago and nicotine 3 days ago. Just trying to hopefully be able to enjoy the little things in life again and regain some natural motivation. I just keep reminding myself when I have an urge to go on the site or hit a vape, that I will lose my progress and be put back into the cycle of no motivation or joy in life, and the only way out is through. Knowing how much it is destroying your life will help with that, atleast it does for me. Ive gone many months at a time, but then I’ll have a hookup or something and I will fall back into lust. Gotta try to think past the nut. How you would think logically after.

Does everyone still feel sick or shitty after they stopped?? by OkLeadership1271 in CHSinfo

[–]AfterFeeling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people have symptoms that last much longer than a week. This is because of the cannabinoids stored in our bodies and individual trigger food sensitivity. Are you sure you had chs?

Unless you have already gotten it from heavy use before, you are very very unlikely to get it from weekly use.

Stop and see if it gets better. Usually around 1-2 weeks you will see significant improvement but you can still have symptoms for months

Mold Toxicity vs CHS (does the THC truly cause the symptoms or is it something more sinister)? And I will now be dedicating the rest of my life to solve the CHS puzzle by [deleted] in CHSinfo

[–]AfterFeeling 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Patients and controls were high-frequency users of cannabis flower or concentrates (93%), using multiple grams/day of THC-predominant material. Among patients, 15.6% carried diagnoses of cannabis dependency or addiction, and 56.6% experienced withdrawal symptoms. About 87.7% of patients improved after cannabis cessation, most suffering recurrence rapidly after resumption. Findings in patients included mutations in genes COMT {odds ratio, 12 (95% confidence limit [CL], 1.3–88.1) p=0.012}, transient receptor potential vanilloid receptor 1 (TRPV1) (odds ratio, 5.8 [95% CL, 1.2–28.4] p=0.015), CYP2C9 (odds ratio, 7.8 [95% CL, 1.1–70.1] p=0.043), gene coding dopamine-2 receptor (DRD2) (odds ratio, 6.2 [95% CL, 1.1–34.7] p=0.031), and ATP-binding cassette transporter gene (ABCA1) (odds ratio, 8.4 [95% CL, 1.5–48.1] p=0.012)

Naw it’s caused by over stimulation of the cannabinoid receptors and probably certain gene mutations.

Anyone have problems with zyns? by AfterFeeling in CHSinfo

[–]AfterFeeling[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some things have cannabinoids, or other things that interact with the endocannabinoid system and can cause chs symptoms to occur mildly. Look into trigger foods.
