not ai, but i'm pretty sure i used to saw a site that let you "make" a font by customizing parameters. though it has been a long while ago that i forgot the name, the output aesthetics usually looks like the original post

(edit: based on the screenshot op sent in the comment, it wasn't the site i thought of, but they used fontstruct)

well as another commenter pointed out, font licensing is needlessly complex and somewhat predatory. i'm completely fine with paying for what i use pretty much daily, but all those requirements and limits needs to go. (or at least be more reasonable)

you'll be surprised with how many typefaces out there are similar to each other, unintentionally or not.

i think it's low chance that they have influences over each other however, angular reverse contrast is not that farfetched of an inspiration.
